Requirements for New MSW Students

All new MSW students at NCSSS are required to (1) view 2 Writing Workshop presentations and (2) successfully complete a Plagiarism Tutorial (and submit a certificate of completion). To get started, click on any of the links below:

(1) Writing Workshops:

To view presentations on a PC you will need Windows Media Player and high speed internet For a Mac, you will need to download a FREE software program called Flip4Mac. Here is the link for the download: http://www.flip4mac.com/wmv_download.htm.

(2) Plagiarism Tutorial:

What:  How to Recognize Plagiarism:

• Word for Word
• Paraphrasing
• Practice ...

Then take the Test.  

Then What:  Once you have received a score of 100% on the test, print out the Certificate.

Finally: Make a copy for your records. Submit original to your course instructor by Sept. 27th.
