Maureen McFadden, Class of 1998

 

I graduated from CUA in 1996 with a BSW in social work and in 1998 graduated with an MSW.  Since that time I have worked for District of Columbia's Child and Family Services Agency.  I am currently a supervisor for the Recruitment unit.  This unit is responsible for recruiting foster and adoptive parents.  I sit on the Mayor's Committee for Permanency for Children and Families as well as the for the Council of Government's Foster Care Committee.  For the past two years I have taught two classes at CUA including the Integrative Field Seminar and Clinical Social Work with Families: Strength Based.
