 ONLINE NCSSS COURSE EVALUATIONS

We strongly encourage all students to complete an online evaluation of each of their courses. We will make the results of course evaluations available to students only for those courses where we receive a response rate of at least 60% - your evaluation really does matter!

Please be assured of the following:

  • Online evaluations are both anonymous and confidential.  Neither faculty nor CPIT (Center for Planning & Information Technology) staff can connect your name to your evaluation.
  • Prompts will be sent automatically to those who have not yet completed evaluations, but, again, we do not know who those students are.  If you have questions about these first two points, contact Edward Trudeau (trudeaue@cua.edu) in CPIT.
  • Evaluations are seriously considered in hiring of adjunct faculty, tenure and promotion of full-time faculty, and by individual instructors in improving courses.

Instructions for completing online evaluations:

The period for evaluating NCSSS fall courses will be from Friday, May 1st  through Wednesday, May 13th.  During that period you may:

  • Log in with your CUA username and password.  This is NOT your Cardinal Station login, but the one you use to access your CUA email.
  • If you have difficulty, or if you have forgotten your username and password, call the CPIT Help Desk at 202-319-HELP (4357); they can reset your password.
  • After login, go to the appropriate link for each course.
  • Do not attempt to go back to modify answers once you submit; this will lock you out of the class evaluation.
